"See this, Hiccup? This is a dragon that knows how to be a leader."
― Snotlout
Fendmender doesn’t share food. He’s nice, he’s great in battle, but his one big flaw is that he’s a massive hog at feeding time. This Snafflefang has a tendency to use his tail to brush away other dragons, and it’s not unheard of for him to steal Viking food — even out of the hands of dining Vikings!
In truth, Fendmender’s insatiable hunger derives from all the calories he burns on the battlefield. This is a dragon that fights with gusto, but all of that brawling builds up quite an appetite. This is why most dragons and Vikings look the other way when Fendmender goes back for seconds... and thirds... and ninths...
