Fenrir's Eviscereaper takes her name from the brutality of her combat style, which has been compared to the Fenrir's wolf's voraciousness. This extremely rare Dragon is unmatched in sheer savagery by any other Dragon known to the Vikings of Berk. From infancy into adulthood, the Eviscereaper's every act was focused on the brutishness and ferocity of the hunt.
The Eviscereaper hides in shadowy enclaves for unsuspecting prey to wander into range. As soon as an unwary wretch strays too close, the Eviscereaper drops upon it, injecting it with a jab of tail venom. The poison immediately goes to work, paralyzing the poor victim’s motor nerves. Their pain receptors, on the other hand, remain perfectly functional—a fact that is not lost on the Eviscereaper—who prefers the flavor of food that is terrified. To this end, the Eviscereaper will keep her prey alive as long as possible, dismembering the woeful quarry piece by piece before finally putting her meal out of its misery.
