If ever there was a paradox in the dragon kingdom, the Merciful Nightmare is it! These dragons are like the black sheep of their breed, uncommonly kind, well-mannered, and friendly relative to other Nightmares. Just don't block their sun!

Merciful Nightmares are some of the most passive of their species in the wild, so long as nothing comes between them and daylight. These sun-worshipping dragons spend all day spreading their yellow wings and basking in the warmth, meaning that night is the ideal time to start training them.
