Bio
- "Hurry up guys and fix that wing.. ‘Cuz I’ve run out of things to sing."
- ― Ruffnut
On the verdant island of Erin, located to the west of the Archipelago, there is a legend of a man who the locals hold in high regard. This man, named ‘Padraig’ was a son of a deacon who was kidnapped by raiders from Erin and forced into thralldom at the age of 16. He worked as a shepherd for 6 years there before discovering a god hitherto unknown to the people of Erin. This god told him to run away to the coast where a boat would be waiting to take him home. He escaped easily, as in those days there wasn’t much security on thralls. After his escape, Padraig went home and became a holy man dedicated to this peculiar deity, then returned to Erin to preach about how the three leaved shamrock is the perfect metaphor for how his god is three people in one, and how snakes are bad. Every year, on the anniversary of his death, the denizens of Erin wear green clothing and drown shamrocks in ale to celebrate his contributions to their culture. Toothless loves this holiday, after he vacationed in Erin one spring, and fell in love with their stone circles, harp players, and fiddle music.Every year, he paints himself green by rolling in the grass, adorns himself with shamrocks, and heads out to the stone circle on the hilltop to dance the night away with the fiddlers.
